Soldiers played a game of flag football during noncommissioned officer school; Basic Leader Course (BLC) in Ashland, Nebraska.
Summer of 2011 I attended my first noncommissioned officer (NCO) school in order to become an NCO. I was a Specialist when I attended and was assigned to a class of wonderful soldiers, Specialists (E-4) and Sergeants (E-5) whom I have never forgotten. On one of the final days following a grueling schedule of training and study, we used our downtime to unwind. Although we were strangers from all over America, you can see how close everyone became near the end of the course.
